1. Reflect on the learning activities and tasks.
This week I have spent most of my time creating the final projection, which is finished now. I have managed to include all the work I wanted to and it has all been put together. I am currently liaising with Andy about how to save the work. There have been some issues with the MPEG-2 PAL format as it appears to be unreadable on a Mac. I have been instructed to send it as a Quicktime file with PAL codec. I will keep sending tests to Andy to see which file type will work.
I have also updated my blog with detailed descriptions of the work included in the show, and justified each one’s inclusion (see: final-show-projection-analysis)
I plan to create the DVD and send it by the end of the week, well in time for all the deadlines.
2. Reflect on the contributions from other students.
I spoke to other students about deadlines this week.
3. Reflect on the quantity and quality of your own contribution.
I contributed to the chat by asking questions about where and when to send the finished DVD.
4. Identify any ideas and concepts you found difficult to grasp.
File format for final piece.
5. What was the single most important thing you learnt this week?
File formats need to be correct to run at the show.
